Changing Fabia rear lights

Featured Replies

Hi, we've got a 2001 Fabia TDi estate in black magic, tinted windows and 16" alloys from a VW Polo Sport (think they're called Barcelonas - split five spokes). Anyway, thinking about changing the rear lights for the ones you get on the 2005 facellift models (seen them cheap on eBay). What do you think? Cool or sad? And before anyone suggests it, there's NO WAY that Lexus lights are going on!!!! Oh, and do they definitely fit?

Yes they do fit Ive done it myself bit awkward to do mind.

Easy peezy lemon squeezy. Around 5 minutes a side for me when I put facelift ones on mine. :) It's only 4 bolts, and an unclip/reclip in of the bulb holder.

Remember that estate rear lights are different to hatchback ones though!

Yup - but the combi/saloon uses the same ones as the hatch. :)

cost me £77 from the dealers, fitted them on the forecourt with a socket set in 5 mins and it was raining lol

Cost me £50 new from "another" source :D

Do look nice compared to the old lights - less "lumpy"
