First customers this weekend!

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just getting a bit of excitement now, as I've got an S3 and a Cooper S this Saturday/Sunday for my first proper customers! Any advice or comments? Thanks.

No machines, but probably everything else including the clay involved....

Make sure you post up some pics mate.........

Aaaargh! I knew you'd say that.

Not sure if I can muster a blonde at short notice to help me out, and I don't look as good as you in a tie either, so we'll have to see about that!

Will make sure to take some pics, but I'm nearly certain I'll have trouble posting them as I always struggle to get them under the download limit. Is it the same on this site?

Sign up to something like Photobucket and you can post the image links in your threads?

Claying without a polisher

Make sure you use a really mild clay as if it mars at all you'll have hell getting it out by hand.

I'm a novice at this game mate - is that a big no-no then? Claying without the safety net? Always open to good advice please...:)

Well if somebody is paying you to do the work, then they are not going to be best pleased if their car has more scratches than when you started.

The BH soft is pretty soft as far as I know, but then I'm not clay expert either.

Meguiar's Mild Clay is a good safe one to use (as long as you use it properly of course )
