I'm replacing the nearside door regulator on the wife's Fabia, back in June the drivers side regulator broke. when I changed that the lock barrel was held in with a screw, so that was easy to remove. On the near side there is no barrel just the blank. Any ideas on how this blank piece comes out. I need to remove it so that I can release the cable.

OK I managed to remove the blank by slackening the lower T20 torx screw.

However you dont need to remove the door handle to change the regulator.
