I have a Elegance 1.8T hatch and it makes the creaking noise from the front drivers side. From what I have read here it is probably the ARB brushes.

Is driving around (only for short town trips) with it broken until I get it fixed (should be soon) a problem?

You'll be fine using it with the rattling, If it is the ARB Bushes.

Thanks, I dont think it's the radiator mounts as I couldn't get it to creak when rocked. Are there any other test/things to look for?
