It’s interesting that the Mule was spotted back in February. Looks like Twin-door hatches are the coming thing this season.

The scary thing is that I think the disguised version is probably better looking than the final car wil be!

BMW are bowing to public pressure and going back to designing bland Euroboxes with aggressive Kidneys:D:(

Mystery solved - No indicators on this model.

Always thought they were an added extra for Beamer drivers.

I'm on record as saying I quite like the 1-series coupe.

I was just referring to the appearance of new BMWs. I think they should have stuck with their bold approach. It's not like they have massive platform sharing like the VAG group, so I can't see why they don't push the 'Individualism Boat' out a little more:(.

See, I don't think Careless Angle has ever really got car styling. For me it's about 3 things:-

1) Proportion

2) Playing with light on a curved mirror

3) Detailing (and what works best here depends on your solution to 1 and 2).

The 1-series coupe aside, I think he's normally got 1 wrong, never attempted 2, and made getting 3 right impossible as a result.

For comparison, I didn't like the first Mondeo, but it was improved markedly by the bigger lights (changing 3 to suit 1 better) in its facelift.

As do I.

The 3 and 5 door hatches still don't look right though.

I think you will find that BMW could not perfect the twin door system and has licenced the design from Skoda

Keith ;)

I hope Skoda make the seals better than on their doors

Keith do you....or anyone have any more info on this?

Dan

the 1 series coupe is gorgeous, as is the Z4 coupe :)

Well, the Z4 coupe is certainly better looking than the Z4 convertable.
