s3 rear brakes

Featured Replies

hi does any1 know if the audi s3 rear brake setup would fit the fabia vrs as iv put 312s on the front and now the rears look a bit on the small side ? cheers for any help

They will but you need adapters to space the carrier out as they are meant for IRS not a beam.

aw any idea if they are on the market ? and a cost ?

I know they do them for the Mk4 Golf, not sure if they fit though. I have seen them in VW Driver mag.

But there are a few 9N Polos with it done so its got to be possible.

Not much point though as the rear brakes do naff all and they end up corroding away before they wear out.

If you want bling then get an ECS kit for the rear.

get what ? well i dont think il bother if its hassle and as u say they dont reely do much. however it was a brainwave i had one day in work ! il probably have another 1 2moro !! ha lol cheers tho !!

Im always having brainwaves, I can see the missus flinch when i do as it usually means a new car from somewhere.

arent the seat leon cupra rear brakes slightly bigger?

Not to my knowledge. But the LCR and Octavia vRS and Anni Golf all come from a beam rear axle so may fit on.

LCR rears are 256mm IIRC.

The octavia vrs has 256mm iirc.

I doubt breaking would improve much but it would look beefier behind the wheel

I have them on my VRS. They cost, gulp, £1100 total. I didn't pay for the conversion mind.

£1100 for looks alone?

nice.

£1100 just to look, i'd want to touch and then some for that.

Pretty much. Previous owner did it.

for £1100 i'd want some lube.
