Cigarette lighters not working

Featured Replies

The one on the rear of the centre consul and the one in the boot have stopped working and its now a nightmare when the kids are in the back as they cannot have the DVD or PlayStation working:eek::confused:

The fuse seams ok?? any other things to check?????????

Oh the front one works

think this is in the wrong forum ? this is the forum for the new superb ?

Eyarh Skip try this, undo the dvd lead etc, i.e the power lead at that end, they unscrew, inside there is a fuse, check that, and generally check there's no corrosion, put it back together and try it again, if it's just the lighters there is another method, mine won't stay in so I have to hold it in but not all the way on the button, this seems to get the orange rings hot enough to light up with, hth.

I know this question is in the wrong place:O

There is no power to the back 2 only the front one, is there more than 1 fuse involved as the card is missing from the fuse cover

try checking the back window lock on drivers door the older skodas isolate the back cigarette lighter with the window on off switch.
