Coilovers vrs springs and shocks

Featured Replies

I have just bought myself a set of coilys form fleabay.

They are advertised as fitting all fabia 6Y chassis (1.4, 1.9 tdi-sdi)

I bought a set not too long ago however did not fit on the original strut top mount. (sent back)

Bought these ones now and waiting for them to be delivered.

Has anyone had this problem and can it be sorted?

and wot kind hav you guys bought (for reasonable money) and how have you got on with them?

anyone on springs and shocks upgrade would like to hear from you to.

cheers

Are those the cheap Vmaxx ones at £189.99 ?

If so, you should be aware that they are stolen goods.

Are they ???????

(not that i'm planning on buying a set)

Apparantly so, I posted about them on SeatCupra and was informed by a member who works for Vmaxx UK that they had a lorry robbed on the way to the depot - all the vmaxx coilovers on ebay advertised at well below RRP pertaining to be "damaged" are apparantly, stolen.

He informed me that eBay were taking action to remove them however it seems they havn't been removed?

Sorry to thread hijack.

P.s. Johnny any pics of your new springs ?

Are you people trying to say that because you said on an internet forum that those coilovers are stolen then the guy who bought them now knows they are stolen?

So everything you guys read on the net you take it as gospel?
