Nokia 6230i voice recording over 60 minutes,how?

My trusty old brick doesen't want to record past 1 hour of conversation, is there a way to hack/fix this problem? I have a 1 gb memory stick in it on wich I've set to save the recording/s but it just doesen't want to get past that 60 minutes barrier. I've also had a look over some nokia forum where the guys there had no problem at all recording way over 1 hour with also 1 gb memory,same phone,they said it will record as much as the memory allows, wich left me confused because my phone doesen`t seem to do that :confused:
