I'll own TWO skoda fabias tomorrow!

Featured Replies

I'm picking up another one!!!

If I had more money I'd be SO tempted to go for the 4wd 20vt conversion, as the car is just gagging for it!

1.9 SDI Furby - no engine or gearbox - some front end damage, rear end and sides fine. Airbags blown though. Got it fairly cheap so going to have some bits off it - PAS rack, door handles (for a proper paint job) and some other bits and bobs that will be handy spares.

If anyone wants anything off it, let me know. Complete interior available. Will have a greater idea of the condition tomorrow night.

Whats the plans then if the 4wd 20vt conversion isnt getting done.

I think you should!

I need a few air vents and a boot carpet! :D

Could I have the tailgate trim? the bit on the inside of the hatch that covers the rear wiper assy? Also, has it got the new style rear lights? if so and you don't want them, i'll take a look!

-Duggie.

Does twice as many Skodas = twice as many posts?:rofl::P

Could really do with the door mirror switch and the front window switch panels. The previous owner damaged mine trying to get the door panels off. I'd also be interested in an under stereo drawer if it has one!

woah! several PMs in a couple of hours!

Boot carpet will be available

Lights are pre-facelift. It's a white 2001 car - hatchback.

Duggie - that trim should all be available

In theory, all the following is available

Suspenson

Interior (not airbags)

4 doors

bootlid

Rear bumper (slightly scuffed)

Front wings

However, time is STRICTLY of the essence as the car is going to be stripped of what I want and will then be going in to the local scrapper. I cannot store this car....

I would like the left adjustable air vent out the dash if it is not already spoken for.....

That sounds familiar as someone was trying to sell a white SDI on Ebay for a ew months minus engine and 'box

Sounds like a good project though.

Will this be Mongrel the second?

IF the glovebox is the same colour as the vRS (I seem to remember it is in fact a lighter grey but worth a punt anyway), I would like the glovebox door please!

I could do with the small clips on the roof rails that hide the holes for the roofrack, All 4 of them if possible, providing it has the quick fix system???

cheers

It's NOW in my possession!

firstly the bad news - the trim is a grey-ey blue, so no black trim up front. Also, as it's a classic it has manual mirrors and rear drums (had enquiries on this earlier)

HOwever, it does have AC - so the AC pump and rad are in there and available. As for bodywork, in white there are 3 doors (passenger front has been knocked badly) and the bootlid - also the front offside wing is in good nick.

Not checked the inside in detail but there are seats and various trims available. More pics to follow on Sunday, as it was dark when I picked it up, so piccies were not attempted. Little random SDI bits like wiring looms, ECU, clocks, etc are available too. Quite tempted to stick the SDI badge off the boot on my car. ;)
