My gf's Fabia vRS is due a service but I'm unsure which it should be having.

It is currently on 29k and will be 4 years old in November.

First service was done at 10k in November 05, then annually after that as her mileage wasn't high.

Should it just be getting an annual service, or a major service - or should that wait until this time next year when it is approaching 40k?

To add to your woes, 4 years old is cambelt change time.

30k + inspection is what you want, no?

-inspection service

-brake fluid change

-cambelt

-and mot

ouch! to the credit card...

I know all about the cambelt have had one done on my Octavia. Cost isn't a problem as I can get it all done with free labour. The joys of working at a college with a Motor Vehicle department!

So an inspection service should be fine until next year?
