Hi,

I was driving home along the A1 the other day and noticed on the dash panel, that my coil light was flashing. My VRS was running okay and did not sound as if anything was wrong. I continued home and when I got it on the driveway. I stopped and re started the engine, the flashing coil light had gone and not re-appeared since? What fault would this normally be associated with the coil light flashing? The engine starts as normal and drives normal too for info.

Yes, most probably a sporadic fault with the brake light switch!

Yep the brake light switch is on it's way out, best to get it fixed soon.

Mmmm , it would mean that the brake lights are not working

So it would be best to do it ASAP
