Front and rear light removal - help pls.

Featured Replies

Hello, Before you say it...i have done a search and cant find the threads:(

I have a black magic Fabia VRS and after a lot of umming and arring ive decided to;

1. Spray black the front chrome grill surround.

2. Spray the front light cluster chrome inner bit black, to give the Michael Caine look if you know what i mean.

3. Spray the clear section of the rear light clusters, dark not black.

The rear clusters come off fine but how do I get inside them to spray the inner?

I assume i have to remove the whole of the front light cluster then again who do i get inside them?

Your help is apprciated in advance, Olly:thumbup:

.......The worlds smallest man!

But seriously

Good Work! these are exactly the same mods I want to do to mine (except mine isnt a VRs) as far as I'm aware to get the front cluster apart you can put it in the oven on a low heat for a a small while and then the glass can be prised from the backing.

The rear ones can be sprayed from the outside happily if you then spray laquer over the top it will keep a nice shine.

However I have no idea how to take the fornt clusters off.

hope this helps.

It appears the front bumper has to come off which i was afraid of. I'll crack on with the rear lights, Cheers.
