Fabia / Symphony h/u aux connection

Featured Replies

Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered already or is a stupid question but, i have bought a blaupunkt lead below for connection of my mp3 player. I have it connected but the h/u does not recognise the connection. As far as i can see the pin outs are correct.

Do i need to do something to tell the h/u it has another connection?

Thanks

Oops....

"These leads are intended for use with better-specified Blaupunkt 'aftermarket' radios, and are not suitable for use with most Blaupunkt navigation systems or factory-fitted radios, including VW Beta / Gamma / Chorus models. They will plug in, but not be recognised by the radio."

You can buy a blob or a box to emulate the CD-changer. As a plus, they usually provide CD-changer, aux-in and sometimes SD-card or USB key connectivity. Prices unfortunately vary with the specifications.

I just got a Connects2 CTVSKX001 after all the recommendations on here, best price i could find it was:

Connects2 Skoda Fabia / Octavia auxiliary input adapter - CTVSKX001 from Connects2

I would definatley recommend them as well, ordered Sunday evening arrived Tuesday morning and at a great price.

Only took a few minuites to fit (although it took a lot longer to find a nice little place to hid the box away) and it does everything i want (give me a 3.5mm aux input).
