i know in the front glove box, there is a key switch for turning off passenger air bag.....can one switch it off for long periods of time without any issues?

of course it will be on when a passenger is in the front....just wanted to see the airbag off light on all the time...make the front console look a little more interesting ...i know it lights up at first when engine started up then goes out.....any comments welcome:)

If there's a switch, you can leave it off as long as you like. It's designed in case you need/want to fit a baby seat into the front seat.

All you'll have to do is put up with the warning light.
