New Skoda in the family

Featured Replies

My wife has taken delivery of a new Bohemia Estate (1.4TDI) last Wednesday. Its a cracking little car with loads of space, and lovely torquey engine though still a bit tight.

Enjoy the car!

They're a great little engine those 3 pot diesels!

I'm sure it will soon loosen up soon enough and if looked after will go on nearly forever!

Already have a Roomster 1.9TDI and previously had a fabia 1.9 SDI, the new three pot is so differrent to the SDI, but economy seems just as good over 70mpg on the trip computer(no 1 memory).

Glad you like it, love Fabia estates, just remember to knock about 5mpg off the comp figures to get realistic ones.

Yeh... believe this can be corrected...

Just work out what the car is actually doing (mpg wise) then get someone to help you with vagcom and re-program it so it gives true mpg readings!

Yes normally work it out by brimming method, but as its new will wait a while and get a truer figure. Always managed to get about 59mpg mixed driving(true figure) on the SDI, so it should be intersting.

Skoda's are great, you will love your new car

Just a quicky, how tall are you? Im 6ft4, and cant get in a Roomster. Thought there ment to be big? Cant stop banging my head when i looked at one. (not to buy, just waiting for my Fabia in the showroom).

I do like the look of the estate.
