cigarette lighter problem

Featured Replies

My wife has just informed me that the 2 rear cigarette lighter sockets dont work the one at the rear of the centre consul and the one in the boot but the front one does

Is there anything to check in the fuse box as they are used for the dvd player and a cooler box in the boot

or any other suggestions as to what the problem could be

The fuses for the rear sockets are above the pedals - well inside the compartment containing the fuses and relays. It's easier to remove the trim above the pedals to gain access. 10A rating, I think.

There is a separate fuse for front and rear /boot sockets - I took advantage of that fact and have rear sockets switchable on ignition. On my car, it is the small red fuseholder that you want to extract, use small screwdriver or tweezers on the tab.
