I've been toying with the idea for a wee while now, so can anyone give me an idea of the ride and handling characteristics of a Fabia with a Koni FSD/Eibach setup? (I am aware of the cost...)

I'm after something that'll lower the car a bit and provide decent handling, without ruining my already-buggered back... :eek:

Sounds like FSD's and Eibach's are just what you need.

I imagine it will be pretty comfy in a straight line, but in the bends it will tighten up and perform well keeping the car in check through corners.

One of my mates tried to sell me a hydrosquishy Citroen...but I like to have fun and involvement...besides I love my fabia too much I plan on keeping it, so losing money in mods come resale doesn't bother me. Not yet at least...

I know the Eibach springs lower the car 25mm and the Koni's lower it up to 40mm with the FSD dampers but.

Given the state of the roads where I'm currently living, I wouldn't want to go much lower than 25mm
