Hi Guys, hope one of you can help me.

My brake pads badly need replacing all round, and I also need to replace the front discs as both are lipped. I am wanting to buy the parts from VWSpares but I have no idea which ones to buy. I have a 1999 T Reg Octavia 18 20v SLXi.

There seem to be the following types of discs and pads on sale at VWSpares-

1LQ, 1LR, 1LS, 1LE, 1ZM, 1ZE, 1ZN

So, what I wish to know is which of the above codes relates to my model of Octavia?

EDIT - Oh and one other thing, what type of rear brake pads and discs do I need? Solid or Vented? Cheers!

These are 288`s that you have on the front

The pads on the 288`s and the 312`s are the same

I have noticed that there is a brand new set of Tarox pads in the for sale section

We do Tarox brakes , the best available I think and we have 20% off them until the end of this month (tomorrow)
