VRS fuse for power socket

Featured Replies

Hi guys, Have had a look around the Forum to see if I could find the info first but i'm struggling.

Power to the cig lighter is dead and I suspect the fuse has gone.

I eventually found the fuse box(what a nightmare that was with no manual)

Could anyone give me a clue as to which fuse is for the cig lighter or am I gonna have to pull them out 1by1.

Ideally a map/key would be ideal if anyone knows where to find one online!

Thanks guys.

O and if any of you are having a bad day today, I am in work (security manager) and one of our maintenance lads' V6 4motion has just burst into flames on the carpark, total right off,:( looks like an electrical problem, as you can imagine he is distraught. Your day feel any better? I hope so!

Yeah I intend to replace the fuse, once I find which on it is, but I am at work and my manual is at home so it would mean taking them all out 1by1 to check.

The link you have provided was exactly what I was after so thankyou!

Have you checked the socket itself with a multi-meter or another device - could also be the fuse in the tip of the plug itself - that's caught me out before.

I put a nokia charger in with a red power light on it. It never lit up so first port of call was fuse. Found it and it had blown. Popping over to Skoda now for a replacement, wonder how much they will charge me?
