Nightmare!!

Featured Replies

I got home earlier to find a nice shiny screw in my front nearside tyre, the tyre is slowly deflating so needs to be changed asap only problem is can I find the locking wheel nut? I've looked everywhere and not sure if A) I ever got it with the car and B) If so where it is now, does anybody know whether Skoda issue replacement wheel nuts and if so how much would it cost?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think your local Stealer should have a "master" key

Worth a try asking......

It's original place is in the boot, under the mat, in the black box that sits in the spare tire. I think it should be on the near right side, if the box is placed like it should. If it's not there you can check in the double floor of the glovebox. The last more "hidden" place is in the little cooling drawer, which in your case is on the right of the steering wheel.

PS: Kinda stupid question, but are you sure you have locking bolts, because if you can't find the nut, they might have been removed?! ;)

Good luck. :)

Haha good thinking, thanks for the ideas, I've had a look and couldnt find it in any of the places so I'm going to go to the dealer in the hopes that they have a master key. Wheels definately require the wheel nuts so I'll need to get a replacement, any ideas how much it'll cost for a new key?
