I just wondered if the 1.8T has a dump valve or BOV? I'd like the noise like some of the skylines and imprezas have when you rev them and they kind of make a tshhhh noise? lol

Yeah, it does. IIRC it's a plastic Bosch re-circulating valve.

You can get atmospheric valves for the 20vT, they're pretty plentiful but the problem is the majority of these engines don't like the atmospheric valves.

The Forge re-circulating is a popular choice, and I am lead to believe it does make a "ppttssch" on the overrun, just not the "bb-ppttssch!!!" of other atmospherics.

TBH, yes. The 20vT engine's pretty much the same all over, although some are longitudinal and some transverse.

Try the Audi A6 as well.
