These are just normal rubbing strips to replace the ones that go down the side arent they?

I was plannin on removing mine painting and resticking, but after reading on here people have bent them gettin them off i figured i should just buy some and paint ready to go on before i take the old ones off.

Knew the meet was monday and i wanted it done before then and now i bet i wont get it finished.

Just be careful when removing them, sometimes the paint can come away with them or the paint my bubble as well.

Heating them up really well (be careful! lol) and SLOWLY take peel them off

Boil the kettle, then pour the water over one at a time and slowly peel them off.

I wasnt left with any glue or residue when i did it this way.

Think they are rubber aswell.

Remeber the door strips are perferated (sp?) and will need alot of paint on them to give them a good smooth look, if not the paint will probs peel off.

I;ll give 'em a decent keying and priming before i even think about painting. Mental note to self, go steal wet and dry from DT block tomorrow before i leave work
