Hi Guys going to be fitting CDT ES-6 bass speakers in my fabia vrs these have a mounting depth of 69.3mm will i be able to fit them without having a problem fitting the door cards

Also fitting ex560i crossovers and DTR 25 tweeters

Also would a set of 5.25 speakers fit if the CDT'S dont

You'll have a problem.

I run JL Audio CSI 650VRs (or whatever). Using the recommended Golf Mk4 plastic spacers, the magnet just touches the window guide behind, whilst the roll surround of the speaker gets within a few mm's of the door card. To the point where I had to relocate Skoda's sticky sponge pad on the door card to avoid deforming the surround.

I wanted to fit RE 6.5s but the doors won't take it without me finding another 5-10mm.

as far as i can make out you have 60mm between the window runner and the outside edge but you have another 20mm before it touches the door panel

I will give it a try and if it does not i am going to have to cut the grill out and fabricate a mdf piece to replace it
