I own a 2001 Fabia classic which has a radio cassette. My mate has given me a skoda symphony cd player with a 4 digit code. When switched on the display shows SAFE then 1000. I have input the 4 digit code but nothing happens. What else do I need to do to get the stereo working?

input the code then hold the arrow right button then it will beep, then it will work
