Yesterday my vRS started squeaking. :(

You know, like wet fingers dragged slowly over a gimp's shiny latex suit.

Fine in that scenario, but certainly not every time I accelerate, decelerate and change gear.

Anyway, as I wasn't even in my gimpsuit at the time, the noise had to be coming from somewhere else.

But where? :confused:

The rubber bushes behind the driveshafts, that's where!

How do I know?

Well, let's just say I liberally dowsed those bushes with Creak-B-Gone ...

... and BANG, the squeak was gone... and the product's name evolved!

I suspect the recent cold, damp weather has had an effect on the bushes - stiffer due to low temperatures and ripe for squeaking due to the combination of reduced compliance and moistness.

So, if you are being driven nuts by what sounds like the climactic scene in some depraved mouse porno, then simply reach for the Squeak-And-Creak-B-Gone to call 'CUT' on the repugnant rodent rodgering.
