Inlet tract mod?

Featured Replies

Hi every one, could i be the first to do this, on the back of the slam panel where your pd 160 clips into, this part has two torx bits holding it to the back of the slam panel, with your bonnet open shine your torch through the hole in your slam panel and see the small gap for air to go through, i took this of earlier and cut away the inside with a hacksaw blade, now the area is much bigger and you can clearly see your intake pipe, so hopefully i will get more air in, im sure a lot of you know what i mean. Could this be another free pikey mod or has it been done already?

Ive done mine anyhow...

teamed up with a BMC works nicely :)

I know what you mean, I tought it was a water eliminator so you dont get so much water inside air filter.

Have you notice any difference after this mod?

I havent road tested it yet, maybe i should remove the airbox and tackle the inside with a hacksaw?
