It's fine for me - Never have I had a sat nav whose cable wasn't long enough to drop down into the gap between centre console and seat, then run up the side of the footwell to the unit. Having it down there also means charging phones can be left in the tray under the heater controls, and rear seat passengers have access to the socket!
