I switched to fixed servicing at my last service and I'm within 500 miles to my next service (Done 9,500), but no service light has popped up yet on the dash.

When is it suppose to come on, when on a fixed service ?

Its booked in for Saturday at Awesome GTI anyway, just curious to know.

I don't know about when it triggers on a mileage basis, but when it's triggered on time it starts counting down from 1_000 miles.

Mine lights up after 10,000 miles or a calendar year, what ever comes first. It also runs a little rough and misfires a couple of times when it first lights up so you notice it. Quite clever really.

It should come on a bit before to let you know just incase your busy or the garage is busy

Not sure , but I think we can check for you anyway when it comes in

From memory, the display should let you know at start up when the car is within 500 miles of needing a service. It could even be within 1000 miles, but definately within 500.
