How do you remove osf fog light?

Featured Replies

Me again, how do you take out the osf fog light, i want to take it out so i can trim the black plastic for more air to the intercooler.

You don't have to - the trim just pulls off from around the light. Stick your fingers into the hole that's already there, and pull (don't pull on the horizontal bar - pull against the back of the flat surface you're going to remove. Is this tied in with your request regarding bumper removal, 'cos you don't need to bother. You may want to consider the 'wheel arch mod', though...

Ive had this bit out and attacked it with a hacksaw, hopefully now my intercooler will get more air.

Just be careful of stones flicking up and into the intercooler, my black bit had a hole in it from a 'small' accident and a stone (bigish one) went up the gap past the fog light that was there and it cost me £200 for a new intercooler.

Had the full insert have been there I would be £200 better off, which annoyed me as I kept saying, 'I must call in the Skoda garage and get a new black insert!!!

Live and learn I suppose...:D
