  1. Sorry, I've been on holiday, just back. If a buyer comes along then It's still for sale, but I've got used to it now and happy to keep it if no interest.
  2. Price drop to £8k flat, thread tidied up and mileage updated in original post.
  3. Only bought this very recently from a member on here, credit to him it is a flawless car, but a recent change to my job looks like I might be doing in excess of 30k a year so something more economical beckons. Only things I have done since buying the car is a full service, precautionary change of the tensioners and chains to give me peace of mind motoring, a new flip key and new tyre after a puncture. Make: Skoda Model: Octavia vRS FL Colour: Blackmagic Year: 2009 Engine size: 2.0 Fuel type: Petrol Transmission: DSG 6 Speed Auto Mileage: 72500 - In daily use. MOT:Feb 2017 - happy to put a full year on at the asking price. Location: Alloa, central Scotland Full Service History DSG with Multi Function steering wheel & paddle shift Fully refurbished alloys with Rainsport 3's all round. Hunter 4 wheel alignment recently carried out by Bram Motorsport Upgraded Columbus (RNS510) Sat Nav with Bluetooth & WiFi Auto Wipers & Lights Jumbo Box Rear Park sensors Recent front discs and pads Skoda fabric and rubber mats, cargo net in boot Colour coded grill Tinted rear windows Stubby aerial New design badges all round Full clear HPI report I paid £8250 for the car 8 weeks ago, have put over £1k into it and ideally looking to get what I paid back for it, so £8250 for peace of mind vRS tsi motoring. Would potentially consider something more economical as a swap with cash either way, ideally automatic.
  4. Is it a 3 button flip key? I just got a new one made up for £135 in Stirling, but if it's just the blade can't you just replace that?
  5. Got the car back today, it's one of those annoying jobs that you pay for and don't notice a whole lot of difference, but I'm Noticeably more relaxed at the turn of the key To be fair, quieter start up, definitely less noise when holding it in second or in S mode and probably placebo; but does feel smoother.
  6. There's a good read in here about the mode of failure: http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102001
  7. Just picked up the car last week so it's my first job. The lower cover is listed up there: Lower timing case with crank seal: 06H 109 210 AG I'm doing all chains, guides and tensioners, was considering oil pump at the same time but not 100% on that. The car isn't high mileage but I do a decent distance for work each year so it's all peace of mind, if you're going to do something, you might as well do it right. Looking forward to getting a hold of the old tensioner to give it a good looking over and see how bad it is or isn't.
  8. All parts have arrived, being fitted a week on Saturday, hope it lasts till then
  9. You've posted lies, they may not be your lies but they are lies. There's no point in us debating trident as we have polar views, I'm not going to change your's and you won't change mine. What I will do though is call out lies. I've told you to research, want the facts? Check hansard, check the trident alternative review, check the successor white paper. But don't come back with skewed blogs, more lies and misinformation. I'm content with the fact you are against it, life would be terrible if we all wanted the same thing.
  10. If you even bothered to read Wikipedia before spewing nationalist bile you'd be half way there https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapons_and_the_United_Kingdom I don't recommend wiki as a source for anything other than a starter, but you sound like you need a 101 Night night sleep safe in this United Kingdom
  11. No they don't, you just don't know what you are talking about I'm afraid. UK Nuclear weapons are manufactured in the UK, and never leave the boat anywhere else than the UK, the US and the U.K. Do-not share a design in nuclear weapons. We do go to Georgia, Kings Bay to be specific but not for nuclear weapons. I'm not divulging anything here, it's public info but it all depends where you like to look, you'll not find it in the ferret.
  12. The US Don't supply us with nuclear weapons, therin lies the perfect example of misinformation. We keep Her Majesties territories safe through the use of UK Nuclear Weapons.
  13. We would know, and I know that for certain, and the USA do not supply us with a nuclear weapon.
