i have already got a cat back system.i was just thinking of taking it owt for more torque and bhp.wld i be write in saying tht?

Not much to be gained really, sounds better though.

I felt that it was less restricted above 3,000 rpm with the decat on.

However rolling roads have showed this to be placebo really, possibly gained a few BHP but at the expense of a few torque's.

It does however, sound lovely, not intrusive, but a lovely deep rumble at higher RPM's, and quite loud when booting it.

It does bloody stink though if you leave it running and get something from the boot, so bear that in mind.

There are a a few individuals here that are dead against decats, however no hard reasons have been put forward other than it apparantly reduces back pressure and causes to turbo's overboosting, however this view is not shared on the SEATCUPRA or UKMKIVS website.

So its up to you.

Yes

Aside from upsetting the greens and possibly getting wacked by cyclists, are there any health risks removing the cat? as a driver/ passenger I mean.

Not really, it's the particulates that can kill you and the Fabia does b*gger all about those.

Dont forget , ITS CHEAPER!!!!!
