Quick sat-nav related question for you all, a customer of mine has on Octavia II with columbus sat-nav unit fitted and since buying the car hasn't been able to use the postcode function to enter a destination. It has the box there but doesnt highlight it to allow anything to be input?

He went to his local dealer who told him there was an update CD that needed to be loaded on but was at another branch that day, he returned 2 months later and was told it was still at another branch.......

Basically, is he being fobbed off? Is there an update available? Does his just not support this function?

The car should have been supplied with the Navigation DVD. Your customer would then be entitled to go to a Skoda dealer and request the updated V3 disk in exchange for his V2 disk. There is a TSB that covers this and there is no excuse for a dealer not sorting it out.
