Basically I was wondering how much an engine cover was.

I am still under warranty but I have a funny feeling that it won't be covered as it looks as if it has been damaged by the independant garage that I use for my service:thumbdwn:

It is rattling like a battery hen and doing my nut in.

I seem to remember they're in the region of about £30, although I can't remember if that's even close to being accurate.

Take it off - it's only there for looks.

I took it off last week but it seemed noisier. Rattling like a battery hen sounds like a broken engine cover bouncing off an engine:D

I think that price is well off, more like £130 IIRC. :eek:

You probably just need the new rubber mounts and also maybe the securing nuts? Pence insead of silly money

It's broken, when I am sitting with the engine running it makes some racket.

Need to look at getting one under warranty.

Apologies for the pricing. Perhaps the £30 I was thinking of was for the bolts...
