Anyone else had a delivery update?

Featured Replies

Email from the dealer today telling me that my delivery has been brought forward slightly (!!!) to 1st week in January as my car is confirmed built and currently being, or about to be, transported to a German port (Bremen I suppose?) for Ferry crossing to Port of Tyne.

Anyone else with a January delivery had any update?

If your car has already been built and en-route then it will presumably turn up more or less as planned. The last build week I was quoted was week 52, but the build was pulled forward by 3 to 4 weeks and is en-route. The reason for the early build appears to be forward planning .............

Those who were expecting delivery later in January may now find there is a delay.

Interesting news, however, I suspect this may mean my Superb S ordered in the second week of November will not materialise in the UK until February at the earliest.

Do you have a contact name at SUK in order that I can ascertain the proposed build week for my Superb?

All my own enquiries about delivery were via the dealer. I would suggest that is the best route to go. My dealer has told me about a case where customer services gave a customer that phoned them a delivery date - after the car had been built - that wasn't achievable, so be wary.

I've phoned customer services twice in the past week for their email address - they gave me the wrong address twice and ended up advising me to use the 'contact form' on the website. I managed to email them only by trial end error! If they can't give out the right email address what hope do you have for a delivery date!

i have been dealing with Sarah Hanson who has been very helpful (try [email protected] ...this is not a confirmed address as she always uses the generic customer services email however other people in skoda tend to have christian name.surname so its worth a try !)

I've emailed the customer services email address and will be interested to see how long it takes SUK to respond.

Good news! My Superb S has been built and is currently at the port awaiting shipping. Delivery expected mid January '09.
