Hi,

just got a new amp and toatly new install using the same earth point for this amp as i was the last two, also same cables but have a really nasty wine in the speakers when the engine is on

anyone else had this problem and sovled it??

oh and where does everyone else have there amps earthed ?

Mine is earthed on one of the two bolts that used to secure the OEM cd changer IIRC

This problem is normally because your signal cables (rca`s) are running near power cables so if possible run them under the carpet away from other wiring if not you can get a ground loop isolator which goes inline with the rca`s and filters out the whining
