Went to the main Seat / Skoda dealer today for some oil & this is what they produced!

No shell Helix Ultra Extra or Castol Edge, I am surprised at a main dealer using such a budget brand. I hope this is not normal, the cost was just over £40.

I have since ordered some Castrol Edge from Opie.;)

And what exactly is wrong with that.......................If you had read the label you would see that its VAG's own brand.

It's what was was running through your car veins when it was born.

As Fatty says, that's the stuff you should be putting in! Always used the Quantum synta silver for my Corrados- perfect!

It would be good if the service personnel knew that!

If they had told me that I'd have said ok! To me that was just a budget brand oil...

No, Quantum is indeed the own brand oil. It used to be excellent value for money from GSF until they stopped selling it.

You can't go wrong with Quantum oil.

Quantum Synta gold in mine...although this is now in limited supply as its changing to Platinum
