I am searching the web for more power/torque to my 1,6i AKL-engine.

So far I have only found that RS-tuning provide such.

Any other suggestions?

Remapping a normally aspirated engine isn't going to get you much power..

How much extra does their map give?

You wont get much out of it for the outlay. The AKL already does quite well for a 1.6 8v engine, Im guessing its why there arent many tuners willing to spend the time writing code for it.

They say the engine is 100 bhp / 140 nm originally, and their chip will take it to 109 bhp / 158 nm. If correct this is a nice increase in torque.

To find the engine on the UK site, I had to look under VW Golf mk IV. The norwegian site had it under Skoda thou.
