looking into ordering suspension, but there are 4 options for the vRS

option 1- front strut diameter-50mm/fr axle load 1060kg

option 2 -front strut diameter-50mm/fr axle load 1061kg

option 3- front strut diameter-55mm/fr axle load 1060kg

option 4- front strut diameter-55mm/fr axle load 1061kg

my car is registered 57 plate sept 07, 2.0TFSI

anyone any ideas

IIRC this has been an issue in the past and the only way to know is to measure it.

I believe it can be done from the VIN number and depending on where you are planning a purchase they should be able to advise.

p.s. My educated guess would be 55mm

IIRC - if I remember correctly

All I did was to pass on my chassis number to JKM - they did the rest. :)
