bluefin stage 1 remap

the bluefin website only shows one remap available for the 2.0T FSI, however there are at least stages1-3, just see golf mkV GTI.

INSTALLATION

bluefin is a doddle to install, even if your a technophobe, just plug it into your data port(just up from the bonnet release catch) plug the handset into the car, follow the easy on screen prompts. it will copy(not remove your factory setting), plug it into your computer and it will copy the new map onto your handset from bluefin server. plug it back in the car and follow the prompts, and your done. process takes around 40-50 mins total. And you can revert to std ecu settings at any time as original settings are saved on the handset, so one for one swap as often as you please.

RESULTS

I was very impressed with the difference it made, my car produced 241bhp, 249Ib/ft torque, which seems low compared to revo, but revo is very aggressive, Bluefin was very smooth all the way along the rev range, pulling hard all the right to the redline, i complemented mine from the start with a pipercross panel filter.

fuel economy is unchanged in normal driving, however when you step on the loud pedal it does drink a little more than prior to the remap

And you can update to stage 2 map free of charge from your own front room

the following thread has the rolling road results of the bluefin remap
