greenline spotted in the flesh

Featured Replies

my local dealer has a greenline on his pitch. its still got a lot of the wrapping on and had not had PDI. It had michelin energy tyres and the twindoor spoiler. To be honest it didnt look half bad despite it being white. I was pleasantly surprised. It was next to an S model in beige which looked awful. given a chice i woudl have gone for the white. I imagine keeping it clean is an issue. I think the spoiler helps the appearance.

I took some pics but they are on a very old camera phone thats not very good. I will post them anyway

Would appreciate you getting them posted up when you can.

Still looking at a Greenline or a PD DSG in 'S' trim

Thanks

looks good in white, and the spoiler although small does look good too!

Does the spoiler help full economy or something?

Still not 100% convinced by the rear view of the new Skoda, but it is growing on me a bit...

managed to get one pic sorted for now. look at my website and scroll down to the end for the pic of the greenline

Is the spoiler on the Greenline exactly the same as yours? size, width etc

And why are all the badges taped over?

spoiler is the same as mine

i guess its taped over to protect from scratches in transit. it was in the yard of the dealers along with lots of over new cars. they all still had the wrappers / packaging on from when they were transported

i think the spoiler helps to improve the appearance of the back end. It make sit look shorter and wider to me - i think the superb styling at the back is a bit "awkward". Not somethign that bothers me too much as you cant see it from behind the wheel but the spoiler was a bargain and makes it look better.

what do you think to the 16" wheels ? i dont think they look too bad

I could quite happyily live with the 16" wheels on a 'S' or Greenline

The greenline looks slightly better as it is lower

Not too keen. The wheels look far too small for the car.

can you explain how to put a pic in a post. i have been hosting them on my website as i found it quicker.

Once the pic is on your site, use [/img] tags to enclose the picture's full url (web address).

Job done. :)
