Hey guys!

I'm Adam from the sunny south coast.

I'm planning to get a Fabia vrs next month sometime, either silver, black or red. Then take her down to JKM motor services for a rechip as I hear good things about them. :cool:

What are the weak points on the car to look out for? I see the cam belt and water pump should be changed around 40k miles, the water pump needing metal fins instead of the plastic ones? I've been around cars all my life so pretty much clued up on all the basic stuff but is there anything specific that I should look out for?

Hi Adam, welcome to the site.

If you want I've got 2 vRS for sale, if you want to come up on the 21st of next month and take them out for a spin and see what you think! We are having a Briskoda day, click the link in my sig. Hopefully there will be someone there with a fettled vRS who can show you what they are like with a remap.

Allams Skoda-the black one is a nice example but just slightly out of my price range and ideally I'm after an SE edition.

Hello all, I am looking for advice from the hive mind please. We have a 2012 Fabia Scout and it needs new shocks, maybe rear springs too. Most places list these items, but they are the standard Fabia items, and I believe that the Scout has a slightly different spec suspension. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the correct items please? Many thanks in advance for advice received. Darren

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but
