Mobiles...again!

Featured Replies

Ok, it's now 3 months later and I still haven't picked one as an upgrade for my N95. I want a new toy, but theres nothing grabbing my attention out there!! Just been looking at the Pixon, but it says it has a qwerty, which is no good. I know the Tocco has a normal keypad even though it is touch screen. Are there any other touch screens that can aren't qwerty? help :( lol

Is iPhone a dirty word? I was initially sceptical but think i'll be replacing my N95 8gb with one in around a year.

The contracts they offer are stupidly expensive and you get hardly any texts/minutes. Also they have a stupid qwerty and I can't use it.

Why the F can you not use a qwerty, if you can use a computer?

Get the iphone and enjoy :)

Most touchscreens allow you to set the keyboard to your own preference i believe. the Omnia I had certainly did. I'm sure they'll have a Speak N Spell option for you Loz!:P

I've got a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and IMHO i think it is awesome.

It's touch screen but also has an arc slider keyboard but im afraid it's QWERTY. However you can use it just like a PC

What about the upcoming Nokia 5800 XpressMusic?

I have my eye on this model, just hope its better than the youtube video of the prototype, the touchscreen didnt seem too responsive.

Ive just went back to the oldskool ways.

Me to... but my contract isn't up until July so plenty of time for early adopters to find all the bugs and Nokia to address them before/if I get my hands on one. :D

Because on a PC you type with ALL your fingers, not just two thumbs. and I tend to miss the key i want and press allsorts of others due to the way I text. Anyway, as I said, the contracts are too expenive and you get sh!t all mins/msgs. Waste of money.

I have today settled on a Samsung Pixon. It is touch screen but will do both normal keypad and qwerty, so I can practice if I want to. It looks quite nice and I fancy a change from Nokia, so didn't bother with the N96 in the end. I still have always had Samsung and Nokia though. I just don't stray onto any other makes, it's weird lol.

Nokia, Nokia, Nokia, Samsung, Samsung, Samsung, Nokia, Samsung.

Nice little pattern I got going on there haha!

If I get the hang of touchscreen qwerty and the iphone contracts are actually decent at the end of 18 months, maybe I'll try one :)
