I have a 08 Octavia and a steep drive, if I park with nose facing up the hill and it rains all the doors fill with water?!!?! Therefore when you open the doors to get in the rain water can be heard sloshing around inside the doors. All doors seem to empty once horizonal again. Oddly if I park the other way round this inflection seems to be resolved. Is it just my good fortune to have a car made heavier in the rain or have others sufferd from this? Podzol

This is normal. I too park on a slope with the nose up and water drains out when on the flat. There is a hole in the bottom of the door, somewhere near the front on the underside that the water drains out. All Octavias do the same thing so you have nothing unusual.
