Koni FSD's on 07 Vrs TDI Estate

Featured Replies

Has anyone done this?

If so, what part number did you you use for them as both myself and PSI tuning cannot find these dampers listed anywhere (for the 2.0 TDI estate).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Yes you can get them for the MK2 Estate

these are specific too and not for the saloon

IIRC they are the same as the touran????

But I will have to check

Thats brill, thanx a lot for your help.

but,

you know whats coming next..............

for a complete mechanical spastic like myself, is there any easy way to establish whether mine are 50 or 55mm?

I can hear someone now saying ' get your tape measure out' Great if I knew what I was measuring.

Thanx in advance.

Hi

it depends on what size the damper is

you will need the part number off the front shocker if you can get it off the shocker

Sarah

On the VRS it is 55mm.

my dampers were 55mm on my vrs, if u wanna be sure though take it to a skoda garage or another garage, and get the diameter of the shock measured. good for piece of mind:)

On the VRS it is 55mm.

My '07 vRS had the 55mm front shocks as well; I think IIRC it is only some of the '06 cars that are on 50mm.

Thanx everyone.

Don't suppose theres a market for used standard Vrs dampers, 18 months old and done 13k miles?

Yes there is; They will be of use to someone with a Classic/Elegance/L&K Octavia who would like to upgrade inexpensively. The vRS OE dampers are uprated compared to these models.

IIRC only the 1.6 octis and perhaps the 1.9 tdi are on 50mm. All the bigger engined octis are on 55mm. (that is why I wrote, all the VRS are on 55mm) ;)
