Featured Replies

HI people new to the site so bear with me please :)As standard the Vrs has a recirculative dumpvalve i believe, does it have to run a recirculative dump valve or can it run a atmospheric dump valve?

The reason i ask is because i have a very nice HKS Sequentual atmospheric Dump valve sitting around doin nothing

thanks guys

They run better with a recirculation dump valve. Try and sell the HKS and buy either a Forge or Bailey one.

Or you could buy Forge`s cold side pipework kit..

Id stick with recirc mate.

the splitR is the only one I know of thats half half.

i think that the way the 1.8T works it sometimes opens the valve under certain conditions and due to the MAF countin the air goin in to the system, and some clever other stuff. the ECU thinks there is a leak in the system so goes into limp mode. I have had it when I put a bailey atmospheric valve on.

if you want noise mate get a CAI and a Bailey dv30 iirc or a Forge 007.

welcome to brisky too mate
