I have a '99 Octavia (combi) that leaks from top of both left doors during heavy rain - but only when turning left.

Anyone else heard of this? Do you have any tips on how to solve (without changing the seals - for starters anyway).

I also have a problem with rear hatch handle, it requires careful handling to be able to open - and the baggage compartment lighting is always "on" (lamps removed for now). It seems like the switch for the lights is located in the handle so I will dismantle the inside cover of the hatch to see whats broken.

I had some door leaks after cutting out a section of polyethylene to improve the bass from my speakers - sorted with plastic bags and duck tape ! Might be worth a go.
