Travel Mode

Featured Replies

Hi There

Have taken delivery of a Superb II 170 TDI CR DSG Elegance

Does anyone know what "Travel Mode" is?

In the set up menu on the maxidot there are the usual list of things described in the handbook with one other which I cant find in the handbook. Between "Assistant" and "Service Interval" instead of the "Alternative speed" and "Automatic light" listed in the manual there is a heading "Travel Mode" and the alterrnatives settings given are "On" or "Off"

Does anyone have any idea what it does before I start to experiment?

Thank You All

Trevor

I think it may be the setting for the headlight beam when driving in countries which drive on the right.

No doubt someone much cleverer than me will be along shortly to confirm/differ.

Dan

That is exactly what it is for continental driving.

Many thanks to both of you. Perhaps we could get you a job writing manuals for Skoda. Certainly your answers are much better than theirs. I have both the manual and the supplement to the manual, and although they both refer to driving abroad they give a totally different method of setting the system (a method which doesnt seem to exist on my car)
