Featured Replies

Just had a quick flick around ETKA today and it appears Vag /skoda have dropped the old F valve ( as of 1-11-2007) and replaced with an E version

Old N75F number 058 906 283F

New N75E number 06A 906 283E

Does anyone have any info on why they brought out a new one, or if anyone has the new one is there any difference in performance?

I would put it midway between the F and the H versions. The H version does hold higher boost levels for longer than the E, but the difference is nowhere near as pronounced as the difference between the H and the F.

In this thread Harrybongo says he has one and he also reckons it is the same as the H valve http://briskoda.net/octavia-i/n75-valve-fitted-thanks-awesome/135562/

I think he's confused. The standard vrs came with the F valve which has now changed to the E valve. Some previous older Audi's came with J or H valves fitted as standard. The Skoda dealer would have given him the E valve to replace the F valve.

So could the new E version cure some of the post remap surging whilst being insurer friendly as it is a direct replacement from Skoda?
