"Control system for exhaust" light on ignition

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just bought a second car - a Skoda Fabia 1.4 MPI (Comfort 68) from 2000 - great little car.

Reading in the owners manual (found on http://new.skoda-auto.com/com/service/documentation/pages/fabia.aspx) on page 26 I can see that the "Control system for exhaust" light should flash on ignition. This light is not flashing for 2 seconds on ignition on my Fabia... should I be worried? The owners manual is covering many models of the Fabia so this "flashing of the Control system for exhaust light" might not be valid for my Fabia version!??

Does anyone have any in-depth insight :)

(sorry for my bad english - I'm writting from Denmark)
